Privacy Policy

HOOKED (“HOOKED,” “we,” “us”) is a business-management app for professional fishing guides, operated by Unicoi Development, LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We built HOOKED to run your guiding business — not to profile you or your clients.

Information we collect

• Account & profile: your name, email address, and the Apple ID identifier if you use Sign in with Apple. Business profile details you add — bio, services, waters, pricing, and photos.
• Bookings & trip data: bookings, trip logs, catches, conditions, and notes you create in the app.
• Client information you enter: the names, emails, and phone numbers of clients you add to your CRM. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store your clients' information.
• Client bookings: when someone books through your public page, we collect their name, email, phone, and booking details to complete the booking.
• Photos: images you attach to trip logs and social posts, from your camera or photo library.
• Location: with your permission, coarse and precise location to detect your trip's water body and pre-fill conditions. Location is used only while you are using the app, and you can decline it.
• Payment information: processed by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers. To receive payouts you connect a Stripe account, and Stripe collects the identity and banking details it requires directly.
• Device & diagnostic data: basic technical information (app version, crash and error diagnostics) to keep the app working.

How we use it

• Operate the platform — bookings, trip logs, fishing reports, social posts, and CRM.
• Process client payments and guide payouts through Stripe.
• Manage your subscription through RevenueCat and the App Store.
• Send transactional email — booking confirmations, receipts, and account messages.
• Send push notifications you choose to enable.
• Provide support, maintain security, and meet legal obligations.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data or your clients' data.
• We do not track you or your clients across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Service providers

We share data only with the providers that help us run HOOKED, and only as needed to provide the service:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Stripe — client payments and guide payouts.
• RevenueCat and Apple — subscription management, in-app purchases, and Sign in with Apple.
• Resend and Postmark — transactional and authentication email delivery.
• OpenWeather — weather conditions looked up by location coordinates (no personal identity is sent).

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app, or by emailing us. We may retain limited records where required for legal or financial obligations, such as transaction history.

Your choices

• Grant or revoke location and photo access anytime in iOS Settings.
• Turn push notifications on or off in the app's settings.
• Access, correct, or delete your data by contacting us.

Children

HOOKED is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed to children.

Changes

We'll update this page and the “last updated” date whenever this policy changes.
